410 Stainless
410 / 1.4006 stainless is the basic 12% chromium grade of martensitic stainless steel and can be heat treated to obtain a wide range of mechanical properties. It offers a high strength and hardness coupled with a good corrosion resistance.
This alloy can be used up to 1200ºF (649ºC) where resistance to scaling and oxidation is required and remains magnetic in both the annealed and heat treated conditions.

Typical Applications
