S32760 Duplex
S32760 is a grade of Super-Duplex stainless steel based on 25% chromium / 7% Nickel with an addition of tungsten which enhances the pitting resistance number even further above the 40 PREN minimum and also contributes to alloy strength. Further to this a small addition of copper enhances its general corrosion resistance.
The high pitting and corrosion resistance is combined with a high tensile strength and higher resistance to stress corrosion cracking at moderate temperatures to that of conventional austenitic stainless steels. It is also listed in NACE MR 0175 for sour service and ASME for pressure vessel applications.

Applications
The 32760 duplex is used for components in gas, oil and process cooling plant, instrumentation, wellhead and subsea wellhead fittings, desalination plant, seawater cooled heat exchangers, refinery equipment, de-sulphurising and distillation units, sewage plant components, fire extinguishing systems, marine shafts and high strength fasteners.
